PURPLE/BLUE QUAIL IN VINTAGE PERFUME VIAL

This double stained baby quail is resting in a vintage perfume vial from Mexico City. It is exceptionally clear, allowing to observe the complete structure in development. The blue cartilage is vibrant, highlighting the throat and between each vertebrae in the spine. The feathers at the end of the wings have also been preserved. Its large dark eyes contrast the clarity of the tissues and vibrancy of the skeleton.
