RAT SNAKE IN CRYSTAL DECANTER

This gorgeous rat snake is 4 feet long. It is housed in a crystal glass decanter with a grounded glass crystal globe stopper. Processing this specimen took place over 8 months to ensure its vibrancy. It has been carefully positioned to emphasize this snake’s ability to coil itself. In addition to being able to view the specimen from all positions, the narrowing neck of the decanter refracts the image of the snake, giving the specimen an illusion of coiling into the bottle when viewed from above.

This specimen now lives in Sydney, Australia.
