DOUBLE STAINED BALL PYTHON IN GLASS DOME
This double stained ball python is resting in a glass dome. The globe shape allows the specimen to be observed from all angles while magnifying the image of the specimen. The specimen has been processed with the skin of the head to give the snake its personality and allow its type to be identified.
The tissues are incredibly clear, allowing for its skeleton to be fully observed. The many purple ribs are complimented by the blue cartilage tips and the throat. Additional qualities to note are the areas where ribs have broken and healed. This is a quality that is very common with reptiles of this type. The healed breaks can be seen as small bone masses along the ribs.
This specimen now lives in the Republic of Singapore.
