Ancephalic Chick in Wide Container (conjoined body)
Ancephalic Chick in Wide Container (conjoined body)
This is truly the most unique specimen I’ve ever worked on.
This ancephalic chick has a second skeleton protruding from its chest like a front backpack. This condition is incredibly rare. while creatures like this rarely survive full term, this specimen did (though died shortly after)!
The blue cartilage stain shows areas of development while the pink stains highlight bone. In the spine, these areas or abnormality are highlighted, showing where two individual spines were developing.
This one of a kind specimen is in a fixed position, leaving no concern for this specimen moving or changing position over time.
This specimen is available worldwide.
Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to see more detail of this unique specimen.
